History and architecture of Welsh churches celebrated in new book
This week sees the publication of a colourful overview of medieval Welsh churches. A Church Near You in Wales. Written and illustrated by Denis Dunstone, it includes a guide to the regional differences of building styles within Wales, information about historical and geographical context and watercolour illustrations of the exterior of the churches. Welsh squadron celebrated in new book on centenary of the Royal Auxiliary Airforce in Wales
2024 is the centenary year of the Royal Auxiliary Airforce. A new book, On Dragons’ Wings, by a serving member Martin Wade, tells the story of its only Welsh squadron, No. 614 (County of Glamorgan) Squadron, and the ordinary men who served in it since its formation in 1930s Cardiff. read more

This week sees an updated 5th edition of a collection of Welsh folk stories republished. Welsh Folk Tales by Robin Gwyndaf was originally published by the National Museum of Wales in 1989 and is an important record of the folk narrative tradition in Wales. read more
New book promotes a better life for future generations through liberation economics
