Will Hayward

A journalist widely acknowledged to be one of the leading voices in Wales, Will Hayward has won many journalism awards, including being named Best Regional Journalist at the UK's prestigious Regional Press Awards, and Welsh Journalist of the Year multiple times. He is the only regional journalist to have been nominated multiple times for UK Political Journalist of the Year, alongside the likes of Robert Peston and Pippa Crerar. He is a regular contributor to 'The Guardian', Times Radio, the BBC, BBC Wales, Sky News and LBC. He works as the Welsh Affairs Editor at WalesOnline and the 'Western Mail' and specialises in long-form investigations into issues such as poverty, politics and violence against women. He also regularly lectures in Public Administration at Cardiff University's school of journalism.
