ITV Wales News anchor Andrea Byrne talks frankly about the battle she and Wales International rugby star husband Lee Byrne faced in starting a family.
After a whirlwind romance, the fairytale fizzled when it came to trying for a baby. Seven gruelling years of invasive medical treatments and alternative therapies ('magic pants') left the couple almost without hope. And yet their story finally had the happy ending they'd so longed for: baby Jemima.
Andrea now hosts a podcast called Making Babies. By talking candidly about her own experience, she wants to help break taboos and encourage couples in a similar situation to open up and get the support they desperately need.
