A picture of Roger Penn

Roger Penn

Roger is a native of Whitland, and attended both the local Primary and Grammar schools before joining Lloyds Bank Limited in 1976. He is the son of the late Dr George Penn of Whitland, who became Dolycwrt Surgery's longest-serving general practitioner.
Shortly before his retirement in 2010, Roger returned to Dolycwrt, where his unswerving passion for the old surgery and its proud traditions inspired him to document the building's one-hundred-year medical history. In so doing, he became a published author for the first time.
Today, Roger has five major titles to his name, and he currently enjoys complementing his own work by assisting writers of non-fiction with the editing and reconstruction of their scripts. Roger trades under the name 'Penn-manship Projects.'
